Jazz & Street technique classes are AKA's main dance studio sessions.

As a dance school we specialise in Jazz & Street technique but also in performance. We believe it is vital to teach children the importance of performance along with dance and technique.

As a result of this children are able to progress in to performing and dancing in a professional industry.

The term ‘jazz dance’ incorporates a broad range of dance styles that is constantly evolving in the modern world. With this in mind, our jazz dance classes aim to include many current trends, including street dance, hip hop and commercial dance, whilst still retaining traditional modern dance technique and structure.

This is still essential for dancers of any style today.
